CAMS CARnival

Dear Sir/Madam
2010 CAMS CARnival
Thank you for your recent interest and registration for CAMS CARnival to be held 1–4 October this year. Unfortunately we wish to advise you that this year’s event has been postponed until May 2011. Given the short lead time into the event, we have been unable to attract the interest required that is deserving of such an important event for CAMS and its Clubs.
CAMS is fully supportive of CARnival and much work has already gone into planning and organising the event. It is unfortunate that we have had to make this decision but the overall level of interest is not currently what we expected and it would be wrong for us to continue with the event this year.
We are contacting all entrants that have registered for this years’ event and can ensure you that any entry fee will be refunded in the next week or so. CARnival sponsors and partners have been informed of the postponement and have agreed to negotiate with CAMS for next year.
This decision has been made in consultation with key partner Echuca-Moama Tourism (EMT) who supports this decision. CAMS want to ensure that CARnival is a success for everyone involved and is an exciting event for the motor sport community. We hope that by planning a date next May will ensure this and look forward to your interest early in 2011.
Yours sincerely
David Morgan
Chief Executive Officer
